  I'M KIDDING!!!!

I DO encourage you to donate to your favorite charity, however.  Or somebody you know who is in need.

And I DID have a running battle with another tWebber about the topic of giving.  And I stand by my opinion.

I think Giving is FUN!  And I think that God did NOT tell us to "give" as a means of punishing us or making us miserable.  A NEAT thing about God is that He seems to be looking out for our best interest, yes?  He CREATED us, so He is the best judge of what is GOOD for us.  And Giving is GOOD!

SO... here we go...  I think that, if we're SMART, we'll notice that God BLESSES those who give.  And when we notice that we're being blessed for giving, it makes us inclined to give a little more.  And the more we give, the more God blesses, so we want to give more!
Basically, I was accused of 'giving' for the wrong motive.  Poppycock!!!  JUST because I'm smart enough to notice that God blesses those who give...   and I choose to BENEFIT from that...  that puts my motivation in quesiton?

Here's a good one - I NOTICED many years ago, that UNLIKE the example I've seen on the RoadRunner cartoon, there's this law of physics called "gravity".  If I pay attention to the risks and rewards of obeying this law, I'm SMART, right?
So, if I observe the SPIRITUAL laws of God, and beneift from them, I'm GREEDY?  I'm thinking not.

Finally, I like it better the way I'm doing it than the way a lot of others are NOT!  (Grin)

But you CAN donate to tWeb, and I really think it's a worthwhile donation!  So - click here!
